This one is as close to autobiographical as I get. The details aren’t precisely right, but darn close. I’m a dad with a daughter and I do think a lot of these things. I was listening to Safe and Sound one day just before dropping her off at a friend’s to watch for her for a few hours while I went to a meeting and my daughter lost it which she rarely does when I’m the one dropping her off.
Thus, when the song came up on the ol’ Randomizer, I associated it immediately with that day and boom, story.
The story mentioned puppies so here are some puppies to liven things up a bit. (from www.fanpop.com)
