The Big Bold Return of Last Week in the Links

It's been too long. And so I won't go on too long. Lots of links, let's do it!

The week started with a look back at Sunday's episode of "Marvel's Avengers Assemble" with the weekly Holding Cort conversation with Supervising Producer Cort Lane. Thrill to our analysis of Red Skull's cosmic ascension, the roles of each Avenger, and Hulk's developing sense of humor.

It turns out I just can't leave "Avengers Assemble" alone as I dive into the Top Five Avengers v. The Cabal clashes to help prepare the people for the big throwdown climax between the two teams.

In a to die for transition, this week's Psych Ward featured Hyperion, villain of "Avengers Assemble" and hero of the comic AVENGERS WORLD. It's really all about the comic one, but I couldn't pass up that transition.

Finally, Marvel continues to celebrate it's 75th Anniversary by working through each decade and celebrating the very best of each time. This week it was villains of the 60's and wouldn't you know I was all over that. The whole "event" unfolded over 5 installments (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) and they're all worth checking out. However, if you're just a massive Tim fan (note: find a more marketable name for fan base), Thursday and Friday features my entries: #3 (tied w/ Green Goblin)- Loki appears on Thursday and #1- Dr. Doom saunters in on Friday. Come for the evil, stay for my purple-y hyperbole.
